Croeso i’r Ardd Fadarch / Welcome to The Mushroom Garden

Deep in the Eryri wilderness 10 years ago, Cynan Jones saw a lonely mushroom quietly growing.... this little mushroom gave him a flash of inspiration which developed into The Mushroom Garden. Since that summer evening Cynan has worked hard and filled his life with all things mushroomy and has become one of Wales' leading fungi experts.

Our mushrooms are all grown in controlled units, but this does not mean that they do not thrive on the clean pure air of Snowdonia, and our "typical Welsh weather" - Rain & Mist, makes our Garden the perfect place to grow mushrooms, even the blocks that the shiitakes are grown on are made from 95% Welsh Oak.... these truly are Welsh through & through.
